About ECHO OBJECTS
“ECHO OBJECTS began with a simple observation: museum collections show us that everyday objects can hold extraordinary design value. What if we approached the things we already own with the same appreciation?”
— Founder, ECHO OBJECTS (proposed)

A visit that changed the way I looked at things.
On 17 October 2026, I visited the British Museum in London for my Final Major Project research. Walking through the displays, I noticed how much attention each vase and dish received — the lighting, the labels, the quiet space around it. The blue-and-white patterns, green-glazed dishes and ornamental vessels encouraged me to look again at everyday decorative objects.
At home, and in charity shops, I kept finding decorative ceramics with lovely shapes that nobody seemed to want. The contrast stayed with me.
ECHO OBJECTS is my proposal for bridging that gap: choosing pre-owned pieces with good form, restoring or reimagining them with ideas drawn from historic collections, and presenting them with the care they deserve.
It is a small idea about value — that the most sustainable object is often the one that already exists, and that design history can help us see it again.
This is a university Final Major Project concept. It is not yet a trading business.
