ECHOOBJECTS

Our Circular Approach

A slower, circular life for objects.

The proposed ECHO OBJECTS model keeps decorative ceramics in use for longer. Explore each stage below.

Stage 1 of 6

Discover

Source pre-owned decorative homeware — for example through charity shops, house clearances and community donations (proposed channels, not established suppliers).

UN Sustainable Development Goals

Where the model aims to contribute.

SDG 12

Responsible Consumption and Production

Prioritising reuse over new manufacture, extending product lifespans, and encouraging customers to care for, repair and pass on what they own.

SDG 11

Sustainable Cities and Communities

Keeping usable objects in local circulation, potentially working with community reuse networks, and valuing cultural heritage as a source of everyday design.

ECHO OBJECTS is a proposed concept. No measured environmental impact is claimed.

Responsible Material Choices

Careful, and clearly labelled.

  • Reuse first. The ceramic body is always pre-owned; nothing is newly fired for the collection.
  • Minimal intervention. Restoration aims to stabilise and clean before adding anything new.
  • Honest labelling. Any material, glaze or finish not verified is marked as such on the product page.
  • Decorative by default. Pieces are sold for decorative use unless food safety has been tested.
  • Considered packaging. Reused or recyclable packing materials where practical.
